What we collect

When you use the enquiry form or call us we collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb the property is in and whatever you tell us about the problem. That is the whole of it. We do not ask for anything else and we do not buy information about you from anywhere.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry, quote the work, carry it out and invoice you. If you become a customer we keep the treatment record, because you may need it later for a tenancy file, an insurance claim or a food safety verification, and because product records have to be retained.

We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to marketing companies, and we do not add you to a newsletter because you asked about a wasp nest.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Records for completed work are kept for seven years, which is the ordinary retention period for business and tax records in New Zealand and is also long enough to be useful if you need to prove when a property was treated.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email office@pestmanagementauckland.co.nz and we will respond within twenty working days, which is the statutory limit.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run remarketing tags. Where analytics is used it is limited to aggregate page statistics with IP addresses truncated, and it is not used to identify individual visitors.
