Urban pest management across Auckland, run on the principle that identification comes before treatment and that the written record matters as much as the result.
The short answer
We are a small Auckland pest management operation. We are deliberately not a franchise and not a call centre, we do not sell annual contracts to households that do not need them, and we would rather tell you that you do not have a problem than sell you a treatment for one you do not have.
How we work
This is a service business built around a fairly simple idea: identification first, then the method that species actually requires, then a written record of what was done. Most of what goes wrong in this trade goes wrong at the first step.
We work across the Auckland region rather than from a shopfront, so we are mobile and we quote after seeing the property rather than over the phone. Prices on this site are indicative ranges for typical Auckland properties, and the figure you get in writing is the one that applies.
What we will not do
We will not destroy honey bee colonies. A swarm goes to a beekeeper who wants it, and a colony established in a wall goes to a bee removal specialist who will take the comb out too.
We will not default to second generation anticoagulant rodent bait in suburban gardens. Auckland has invested heavily in urban predator control and a great many streets run community trap lines. Where wildlife, pets or children are a factor we use traps or first generation products, and we will tell you why.
We will not sell a treatment for something that does not need treating. A single large striped cockroach in a west Auckland bathroom in February is a garden species that walked in. The answer to that is a door seal and it is a free piece of advice.
We will not quote a single visit clearance for bed bugs or German cockroaches. Both need a follow-up timed around the egg hatch, and anyone telling you otherwise is either mistaken or coming back.
Products, and the rules that govern them
Pest control products in New Zealand are regulated under the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 and are applied to label directions. That is not a marketing point, it is the legal baseline, and any operator not meeting it should not be in your house.
What varies between operators is judgement: which product, at what concentration, placed where, and whether the alternative to a chemical is considered at all. Our position is that the least product that achieves the result is the correct amount, and that exclusion work usually beats repeat treatment on both cost and outcome.
